today i tried to fashion some primitive electrodes from some bits of solder wick, quarters, and electrical tape... we hooked it up and, well, it didn't quite work. I'm still trying to figure out why :: for electrode gel i got a capful of hand soap from the restroom, and i'm starting to think that it was the lack of positve charge carriers that was messing everything up. hm.
