k10k is finally back. Design is always on its own timeline I suppose. I'm in the midst of a stressful stressful week. I've also taken to repeating words twice for emphasis ... (e.g. "stressful stressful") :: pretty common construct in Chinese grammar, though still pretty comprehensible in English.

Its been summer here for a week. Incidentally the same week wherein hundreds of prospective students visited the university. Cornell calls its Cornell days, I call it the dark contract days, since this week of deceptively good weather happens every year exactly when prospective students are visiting. In fact 7 years ago, this week, I remember touring the campus and thinking that the weather was "about the same as Berkeley" (which I had just visited) ... heh.

the album is done. The entire process proved the saying: nothing would get done if it wasn't for the last minute. We had a week of last minutes, culminating in a haphazard dash to FedEx yesterday. On the last day of mixdown I got a "final warning" from the building manager about noise complaints. I'm officially no longer allowed to play instruments at any time during the day. :o
