project: A maintenance application which combined workflow, versioning, mass product editing and data visualization. For this project I designed ~40 screens, and aided in developing and running user tests against numerous prototypes. key constraint(s): scalability: -- a number of interface design challenges arose around scalability. The system needed to support access/editing of millions of items. security: -- The design was for a powerful maintenance tool, wherein the user had the potential to edit and possibly corrupt a large volume of data. This fact made providing excellent user feedback a key concern. Security concerns also included deeply integrated permissions and auditing capability, which manifest in the interface.
